Actually, Wallflower erase the school’s good memories of Sunset Shimmer because they don’t know who Sunset Shimmer is now. Looks like Wallflower made something like “What if the whole school rejected Sunset Shimmer at the end of Equestria Girls 1 and Equestria Girls 2?”
