Description

At the end of each day, no matter how busy, Torch made it a point to tell Ember a bedtime story. Ember loved her father’s stories, but her favorite one — the one she forced him to tell her over and over, was the story of the vampire dragon. What Ember didn’t realize was how close to home the story would hit.
 
One night, when Ember couldn’t sleep, she made a shocking discovery about her father; he was not the same dragon by moonlight that he was by daylight…

My Little Pony - 1992 Edition

Given that dragon hatchlings spend most of their early life in their parent’s lairs (which are presumably one vast chamber), I wonder if this is normally how they get introduced to the ‘facts of life’?

Goodbye, child I mean hatchlinghood! XD I wonder if Ember started piling up the garlic (or whatever you use to chase away vampire dragons) after this?
