One day, Sunny decided to walk a bit in the city, before she go home after work…..as she did, she walked past a pet store, where something caught her eye…..
Between the dogs and cats, there was a small pegasus too…it was kind of rare to be kept one in a central pet store, since they are usually owned by people from the countryside.

As the colt played with a plush fox, he noticed, as she was watching her, and stopped, looking at her. They watched each other for a bit, before the colt slowly walked over to the glass, still looking at her, while Sunny smiled a bit, and kneeled down as she looked at him. The colt stopped at the glass, and put his forehooves on the glass, what made her to do the same with her hand….what made her smile even more, is that after the ‘contact’, the colt smiled too…

Well, that’s a rare sight, that’s for sure - somebody said, and Sunny looked to the side, seeing the shop owner, and old stallion in the door - The poor colt is here for a while, but this is the first time, that he approach somebody. He’s very shy actually.
Really? - Sunny asked, and looked back at the colt, who slowly wagged his tail, looking at her - He doesn’t look like that.
Well, I guess, he likes you - he said, chuckling

Sunny smiled, and looked back to the colt, as she stood up.
I…I’m not sure…
Well, you can think about it for a bit…I have a feeling, he will not go anywhere. - he said.

Sunny nodded, and once more looked at the colt, who still looked at her, but sensing, what will come, he looked sad already….

…during the night, Sunny barely could sleep, she was thinking about the poor pony….she actually could afford one around the house….it’s a big place, relatively far from the city, and she have a good income….she knew, what to do….

The next morning, she entered into the store, the little colt was sleeping in his basket.
Ah, you are back! - the owner said.
Yes…I think I take him. - she said, still a bit unsure.

Sunny paid the price for the colt - unknown to her, she got some discount -, then she leaned over to the colt’s kennel…
Hey…little guy…wake up~

The colt’s ear perked up, and he slowly woke up, noticing her immediately, and looking at her, surprise and hope in his eyes…Sunny opened her arms and smiled at him.

-What you say, if I bring you home, hmm?~

She got the response immediately, as the colt launched himself into her arms, propelling himself with his small wings during the jump, and licked her face, after landing, making her giggle.
