Go to the artist’s DeviantArt page, it says they’re colourblind right at the top of their profile, and if you go through their gallery you can see further examples of it with characters that aren’t sentient computer data

How so? There’s plenty of things and characters here that are colored correctly. Twilight, Freddy, Sonic’s fur, Sans’ jacket, Mario’s hat and clothes, etc.
