Designing Women was put on hiatus but fan response got it back on the schedule, the original Star Trek was canceled after 2 seasons but fans got it a third, Community found a new network thanks to Yahoo groups after it was canceled, Roswell was on the chopping block but fans flooded the studio with Tabasco sauce and it was renewed, Family Guy was dead for 2 years but DVD sales brought it back, Firefly didn’t get renewed but it got a Big Damned Movie, and then of course, there’s …

Has any show ever been brought back because of incessant fan whining? I think not. Media companies will do what they want and fans can just suck it. The bottom line is always money. No one will spend millions just to make some hash tag who’re happy.
