Regardless, it’s common courtesy to ask before you repost an artist’s works, or respect their wishes if they don’t wanna be on the site. Derpibooru admins, at least respect that, and enforce that.
Y’know, I saw a site using my art for clipart oddly.
Sure a site will allowing you to decide where it’s allowed/not on their site. But what about the other site next door and 50 other sites that give you the finger?
Your rights to controlled your worked is nonexistent, once it posted on the internet. However, that off topic..

While I agree DNP’ing over a petty reason like that is questionable, then that’s their problem, but regardless people should still have their DNP requests respected, and not questioned.
The artist still owns their own work, so they should be allowed to decide where it’s allowed.

So have I… Even if they’re a very good artist, it’s still a toxic mindset.
Honestly, they’re really not hurting Derpibooru as much as they hope, and their fans can just find their works on other sites.

If those artists intend is to use the DNP’s for things that doesn’t relate to those sites or force to do so, So they won’t get cancelled by the “friends.” Don’t act surprised why those sites are being unfair with them. When they are not using the DNP system for genuine reasons.
They should respect the artists DNPs wishes. If they didn’t have a cancel culture gun on their head, if they don’t DNP on those sites.

Some artists are just kinda narcissistic about it though like: “Fuck derpibooru, they’re worthless without MY art on the site. That’ll show them! Owned!” …I’ve seen that mentality before

Regardless of their opinions, you should still respect the artists wishes, if they don’t want their art posted there.
Especially, if you feel DNP artists are justified to not post here out of protest, or whatever, then the same should apply for those who don’t wanna support other sites for whatever reason.

I have seen none of that. And I’m very, VERY active over there. Unless you’re trying to attack the site(The website, not the ideals of it) itself or someone with a very long track record of very extreme SJW-like behaviors, it’s been pretty welcoming overall.
Dunno, some people there seem a bit hostile torwards Derpibooru users whom refuse to protest it, or leave it.
Might check it out, but I refuse to leave Derpibooru.

Yeah, some artists were getting angry about that, as it’s basically stealing their art, or putting it up against their request. Either way it’s disrespectful to an artist’s wishes. Honestly, that’s probably “worse” then anything Derpibooru is “guilty” of.

At 1st I was trying to be a bit fair and put myself on with permission only and afterward I changed my artist tag on here To match my user name oand people continued posting on that site again.So I put that tag on the list and People were just posting as usual so I had to go Full on do not post

Bummer, (what happened? if you can’t post it publically, just PM me) and yeah I hear some of those sites aren’t being very fair with DNP artists, and such.

Like i said The site is literally the same at just was one difference So there’s pretty much no point actually make the jump. I also had a bad Experience with the team not post list
