maybe you could apply a desaturation effect, but what I meant was less saturated as in “the artist choosing colors closer to grey.” when you (or the customer and if so then ignore this) decide a character’s base colors. avoiding colors with maximum saturation helps make a character look more complex and less glaring.
I’m not sure how to change the saturation with sai, but thank you all the same. The customer loved it, and that’s what matters in the end. :)
