A suggestion for the cinematography, it helps us to grasp the extent of the change if we can see the contrast between the normal and the growing part, so perhaps consider showing the back more clearly from slightly above so the size of the flank can stand out as becoming much wider than the barrel as it grows. In a no/low shade art style with flat solid colors it’s hard to get a sense of curves and that can lessen the impact if we can’t see the full extent of the change.
