disney took it over for the last season I think, maybe there was more, but they changed the art style and pushed the morals into your face more I guess… I never really watched the disney version

Personally, I see Hasbro is trying to grab the Monster High crowd. This is what they are trying to do. I don’t think Friendship is Magic is going away though… just that this will be an additional spinoff.
