I know it’s been one year since what happened in the series finale, but, in the words of Rafiki from the Lion King: “It doesn’t matter now because it’s all in the past.”

I love Starlight(though I hate it when she gets stuff that should have been Spike’s, like the season 6 finale), but her backstory is missing some key stuff to make it work and Starlight suffered badly for that goof-up.
The writers seem to twist up what the fans want at times.
Remember how Between Dawn And Dusk how they responded to fans thinking Luna and Celestia are “useless”?
The writers clearly misunderstood the complaints since the actual problem that makes the Royal Sisters look “useless” is how they kept getting sidelined or getting taken out if some villain attacks. Not that the sisters are literally useless.

Ok.
No. Not at all.
Don’t let other people’s opinions get the better of you. Call it personal experience. Keep enjoying what you like, but dont pay any mind to the “haters”. Pretty much half the time they’re just trolls trying to start shit. There are some who will point out legit and valid problems, but don’t take anything on a personal level.
Pick and choose your battles.
Now that’s helping.
Is it okay to still be sick and tired of seeing my favorite stuff getting shat on? Or be sick of the drama that keeps going on since the past years?

Okay, first, calm the hell down.
Second, you can still support the things you love. Nobody said you can’t. You seem to have a problem with thinking that because a select few people disagree with something you don’t, you act like it’s the end of the world. That’s not healthy, nor is going onto threads and decrying things will be gone and forgotten.
I’m no therapist (though I highly reccomend you actually see one), but there are healthy ways to support the things you love, but doing the things you have been doing, which I listed above, is not the way. You seem to forget that, while the show and fandom may not be as big as it was back then, is still here. So what if there are “haters and bitter former fans” out there? Are you gonna let them hinder your enjoyment of the show? Dont let them get under your skin. Enjoy what you want, but do so in a healthy way.
Now are you gonna listen to my advice this time, or are you gonna ignore what I said and continue to lose it like you usually do?
I just want people to have a heart and made things worse. I’m sorry.

TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK SHOULD I DO TO STOP PISSING YOU OFF AND STILL SUPPORT THE THINGS THAT I LOVE?!
TELL ME!!!
Seriously?
You’re beyond reason at this point. Hell, you’re beyond any help at this.
I tried explaining things to you, but as usual, you refused to even listen or consider any form of rational advice.
It’s like I’m talking to a brick wall, but at least the brick wall would actually listen and take the advice to heart.
You really need some serious help if you obsess over every single small thing (like a fucking cartoon) and dont listen to any sort of critique or advice.
When will you learn to care about the things you like and about the people you love? I bet you wouldn’t care about anyone but yourself.
Nobody likes a heartless person as much as nobody likes a toxic fan.

I think you really need to work on your listening skills, among other things.
Obsessive fans derail things and make the overall fandom experience worse for everyone. And they’re on both sides of the aisle. The obsessive fans who will literally defend every single thing in a rather toxic and unorthodox way, as well as the “detractors and bitter former fans” who do the exact same thing except they are more cynical and are all “I don’t like thing therefore nobody must like said thing”.
It’s not about one side being better or worse. They’re both awful. I’m sure you’ve probably heard on social media that Andy Price had a fan just straight up evade his privacy and visit him without any sort of permission. Was he a cynical hater, or an obsessive fan? It seems to lean heavily on the latter. And dont even get me started with how annoying Snyder cucks are with their precious cut of a movie that was probably just as bad as the one we already got.
Bottom line, obsessive fans are not good. At all. And you should never act like them. You’ll end up looking like the people who bash without any greater forethought.
Though I doubt my words mean anything for you, sense you seem to have a hard time trying to comprehend common sense.
Have you found an obsessive fan who died of a heart attack? What am I supposed to do to show love to these hated franchises on the internet?
I feel like we asked too many questions and you seem to act like the police here every time I protect MLP and other hated franchises from its detractors and bitter former fans.

So your saying being obsessive over things is a good thing?
Even though it does make you seem a little crazed and unhinged?
How can I defend things without looking like a terrible obsessive person?
How can we make MLP and other shows I mentioned look good to everyone in the universe again, even if they’ve finished their runs?
I dunno how to deal with harsh critics and fans acting like they rule the world. Without obsession, where is the support then?
Ask yourself this:
Who revived Samurai Jack?
Who made Paramount redesign Sonic for the movie?
Who made the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League a reality?

I never said you should not defend those things. You really need to listen better.
The methods of going about it are what the problem is. Going about decrying everyone who disagrees with you is almost similar to the people you are decrying against.
It’s really not healthy to obsess over this.
Unfortunately yes, because it seems like you want me to not defend the things that I like so I confirm to be the only person who still likes this show (and I mean ALL of the show and G4 in general, and yes, even its controversial changes like the Grogar twist, Twilicorn, EqG, Flurry Heart, the castle, Starlight’s reform, the Student Six, etc. in case you’re gonna say that I ain’t the only person who still likes it), and Steven Universe and Star vs. and etc.
Not to mention being lonely because the majority of people hate these changes and the shows I mentioned that made people lose their interests in it. Yeah, that includes not bothering to search for anyone at all because I want to come to me, not to be found by me. And fans these days just want good things and they overdemand it. And when they don’t go their way (due to bad writing and what not), they manage to treat writers and directors like punching bags. Are you okay with this nonsense?
How is it helping when you just want me to stop defending or want me to stop wanting people to be pleased just for once? Is it different from an obsession?
I just want people to have a heart, okay? It’s nothing abnormal or out of the ordinary.
Edited
Did you really take every single thing I said out of context, or even listen?
I wouldn’t be surprised. Don’t bite the hand trying to help you.
I just don’t want things to be ruined for everyone. Is that so hard to understand?
Oh wait, it is to you because you think defending something you like is “obsessing” and “taking things way too seriously” and “making me look bad” just because it’s “unhealthy”. Not my fault people use harsh criticism these days. I know MLP won’t be forgotten, but the people who are new to the series will likely listen to them once they get past Season 2.

I’m not defending the haters or the bitter former fans.
But the way you act is almost as bad as them.
