Now you’re making me wonder if I should commission something drawn with Stygian along the same idea, since he wasn’t there either.
Spitfire now puts in good words for the Washouts if there are any trainees who aren’t feeling like they’re Wonderbolts material but would find their place with the Washouts instead.

You did the right thing commissioning this. I’ve always wanted to see fans put in the characters who didn’t get to cameo in the finale. It really puts together the feel of Equestria coming all together to decide the fate of their world.

I thank you for commissioning this, regardless of whatever I might think of Lightning Dust’s character, because it makes for good art.
In any case, Flim and Flam cared enough to throw their hat in with the heroes, whether it was for altruistic reasons (“even we’re not that bad”), selfish reasons (“the end of the world is bad for business”), or a mixture of both, so it wouldn’t be that hard to see Lightning doing the same, depending on the interpretation.

She’s a complicated mare, bound to be missunderstood by some.
It’s the internet. You cant expect to have other people opinions to be 100% in line with you and I.
And I agreed that LD in show is just handled poorly imho.
