A talented singer with a passion for animals, Meadowlark is the child of Rarity and Fluttershy. Meadowlark is generally an easy-going pony, preferring to just go with the flow rather than taking charge and making decisions. She struggles with anxiety but is managing her symptoms well.
 
Meadowlark is very good at singing and, when she’s alone, can be found humming or singing to herself, often making up tunes on the fly. She doesn’t really sing as a career, though - she works at the local vet center as a technician, primarily working with birds. She’s also a good cook and enjoys dancing, but she cannot draw to save her life.
 
An insomniac, Meadowlark is pretty much always tired; she can come off as sultry or flirtatious because of this, but that’s not her intent. This also contributes to her seeming very laid-back; ponies will often misinterpret her lack of energy as a lack of motivation. Sometimes, on nights when Meadowlark’s insomnia is really bad, Dazzle Flash will come over and keep her company, sometimes going on flights along the outskirts of town.
