Those are fabric balloons. They’re no fun. Same as mylar. Rubber is best (and there’s different varieties of rubber, from the firm, solid ones used by professional decorators, to the more soft, cuddly ones like neoprene and chloroprene. Everyone has their favorite brands and countries of origin.)

I’ve been a looner (non-popper) literally for as a long as I can remember. Poppers are jerks are meanies. Balloons are for squeezing and cuddling and playing with. Not popping. At least not until they’re old and oxidized and worn out.
