I did say “for the time being”, and was referring to recurring characters.
These may have been a series of commissions with no plot, but the designs are clearly based off of AQM. EQM.
You’re talking about the Equestria Mermaids series? I think this is simply due to Pinkie being introduced the earliest in the series after Twilight (Fluttershy having been the latest to transform — at least until Rainbow Dash turned Trixie in the second-to-last part).
Also I don’t think those commissions are canon with the Equestria Mermaids storyline, so I hesitate to tag them as such.
I should specify, Rod’s vision of these characters as mermaids. There’s plenty of Pinkie, few with Fluttershy. The rest fall somewhere in between.
While I am on it, this series should have a name, plot or no plot.
Not sure what you mean by that.
All six appeared once each in this series of commissions (Twilight and Dash together, as well as Applejack and Rarity ) — and technically, Pinkie even appears in only four frames, one less than the rest.
