The quality of this manga is insane, the writer (which is actually canadian, though the artist is japanese) is clearly a fan.

i might have to check it out. i’m not the biggest anime and manga fan admittedly so i just kind of let it drop off my radar, but it certainly sounds like they’re putting a lot more effort into it than idw.

Yes, and that’s one of the things that makes this manga series good.

it’s just something you don’t normally see in mlp, hell, it’s something you don’t normally see in a lot of shows period. i think it’s really something we should teach kids, that when you do wrong come forward and face the music. and i don’t mean like starlight or snips and snails where they did that but then there are no consequences and they’re rewarded instead.
 
it’s good moral fiber to own up to wrongdoing on your part and take whatever punishment or consequences you get like an adult. it teaches you to think twice before you do things.

huh. it’s not often you see a character in mlp who did wrong and is now facing appropriate consequences and justice for it like an adult.

The mastermind gets off free but the accomplice is harshly punished ain’t that just like real life

And here’s the worst part about this: Star Dancer was actually a good character.
