As far as the episode tag goes I think it’s because this is the same armor he wore.
I think they wanted to give some verity, instead of just yona with sandbar with rarity and everyone else at the school, including the CMC
Twi was giving him a place to call home. She wanted Gallus to feel like he belonged somewhere.
