I’m thinking of Twilight’s change as permanent, mind you.
 
There is still that 66-minute DVD thing, possibly. They’ve spent a lot of time animating that, far more time than they would three 22 episodes.
 
I also think they released Discord for a reason. If not for Season 4, what possible foe would require an alicorn leading the Elements of Harmony into battle, also requiring Discord’s help?
 
I’m greatly intrigued.

This is an interesting point on any grounds. There was a concern after the first season and during the second season that one could only teach so many lessons about friendship before the well would began to run dry. I do like that they opened things up about second season (that anypony could send a friendship letter).
 
We’ve see them get away from friendship letters this season (or at least they strongly implied), as the characters do still seem to relay their lesson to the audience.
 
Here’s an interesting idea. I think Twilight is about to learn that being a princess is more than just ruling from some distant throne, taking petitioners or doing administrative paperwork.
 
I was hoping that we’d see more stories around Celestia and Luna in this regard, but I think that Twilight could have her hooves full just keeping the wildlife and monsters of Equestria in check. Can you imagine Twilight traveling to the land of the zebras, or perhaps Saddle Arabia for relations? I think some epic adventures could be fun! We could now have reason to see even more of the world than we already have.
 
What’s most interesting is that her crown is the Element of Magic. To me, her role in the Elements of Harmony will be somewhat prominent. I think she would need her friends more than ever. I think her friends would loyally stand by her side. Her friends’ opinions of Twilight seem quite high, judging from the reprise of the “Failure/Success song”. :)

I’m just going to wait for the new episode. That image of the button saying “I believe in M.A. Larson” isn’t just some meme to me. If anyone can polish those royal pony turd, I think its him. MythBusters did prove that you can polish poo.

Don’t assume there isn’t more that can be done, also HOW are all of them living there dream ins some way, is Rarity one of the top fashion designer, I don’t think so, do we really know what Pinkie and Shy really dream of, I don’t think so, AJ is still mostly in the same place as the start, Dash has only started on here way to being as Wonderbolt.

I’ve had my pessimism about this show pretty much crushed this season, so I’m ready for anything.
