Hey more next gen! Haven’t drawn this guy in a while (to be fair I haven’t drawn any of my next gen except the mane 6 kids in a while ^^; )
 
Anyway here’s Tenebris, son of Cadence and the son/reincarnation of King Sombra. Cadence and Shining Armor were shocked to see the little black colt when he was born, but thought they could raise him to follow the values of love and friendship instead, calling him Crystallo after the Crystal Empire. And that would’ve been all fine and dandy, if not for the Umbrum. They are the reason Tenebris was reborn to begin with, using Cadence as the vessel. They stole him away in the night, renamed him, and raised him as apart of the Umbrum. Molding him to one day be their King and take over the Empire…
 
The Umbrum are a race of smoke-like horses, able to take on a more ‘cute’ pony-ish form, but naturally look more like horses with sunken in, skeletal faces. Tenebris has known that he was not like them from a very early age, for although they taught him how to move like shadow in a black-smoke form, he still doesn’t look like them. What with his solid body, fur, and lack of wings. To help make him more like one of them, the Umbrum clip his coat in patterns that resemble the Umbrum wings, and his face like a skull.
 
(The Umbrum are from one of the MLP Comics, I think its one of the villain ones going on about Sombra’s past, can’t remember its been a while)
