More info?
The Kisnghna are Symbiotic parasites that enter into the bodies of pregnant mares through spores and take over the unborn embryo.
While ponies are herbivores, the Kisnghna’s are carnivorous. They can take over any animal body and without medicine or magic they greatly shorten the life expectancy of the creature. When the creature dies, the tails release spores to carry themselves on.
The pony that the Kisnghna inhabit grow up as a normal pony without the ability to reproduce, produce a cutie mark, grow wings, or a horn. They feel the same as they would without the parasite, but the tail end of them needs to eat meat, which can cause extreme psychological distress on the host pony.
Spots,a woolly mane, snake like eyes, and different amounts of mouthed tails are the telltale sign of the parasite.
