which inadvertedly asserts that lefty memes require a degree of nuance and actual thought while righty memes are overly simplistic and nonsensical, thus making them easier to share
@Background Pony #9939
That sounds pretty much like the regressive Left or New Left/progressives – in contrast to the more reasonable Center-Left, Libertarians, or moderate Democrats.
@Exhumed Legume
He definitely isn’t a an economic or political genius, but I do think he might be smarter than he seems(not in a good way) as he knew how to manipulate people to get where we his, and he is charismatic from the point of view of his followers, which make up a disturbing amount of the population. All in all he fits most of those things in my opinion. Of course I’m not actually saying he’s the Antichrist just saying that if he were anyone from the Bible he would be them
@Twiface
There’s a large number of evangelical far-right who do genuinely think he was sent by god, and a subset of them who think he’s the second coming. if he’s anything from the Bible it would be the antichrist
@Scp-3125
While the far-right do tend to be trash, those, who are on the right, seem to be far more intelligent. The left are blind, they tend to outright lie, they have many double standards and at times they seem downright mentally ill.
The left feel that anything and everything are acceptable, unless it isn’t inline with their ideas, even going so far as mush turn on one another.
The left are like hippies, free love, legalized drugs, no boundaries no borders, just anything goes.
They claim to be open-minded but outright refuse to listen to differing points of views.
The left seems to want to get rid of all we have and replace it with nonsense that they just make up.
Some of our human beliefs, tendencies, traditions and ideas have served us well since prehistoric times and now some people want to just throw all that out the window and replace it with backward and nonsensical ideas which at many times aren’t even popular let alone wanted or accepted with the majority.
Well, that’s how the left seems to appear to me, at least.
@Twiface
This artist seems to be left leaning, so misunderstand certain concepts shouldn’t be a big surprise.
I understand we all will never actually agree with one another. We’re all human beings and it really isn’t in our overall nature to get along all that well, after all.
@Scp-3125
Yeah, they keep writing articles about him EVERY SINGLE DAY like he’s their god or something. Surely their “intelligence” could be put to better use?
@Twiface
The left, the ones who aren’t too far down the line anyway, do tend to be more intelligent by nature, but then again it’s not much of a contest when a majority of one side worships a racist Oompa Loompa
@Background Pony #0678
The message of the original unponified meme is that memes created by left wingers are often long-winded moralistic lectures on how you should think or behave, while right wing memes tend to be blunt, straightforward, edgy, and provocative.
However, the artist who ponified it has misinterpreted it to mean that to mean that the left is more intelligent because they write long essays with academic sources while the right only uses insults because they don’t have any good arguments.
So? The one on the left is more concerned about being the star on center stage and taking selfies and hoping no one notices that they’re hiding a great deal of information behind a smiling face? In the end it’s all about they themselves?
While the one on the right is clear and to the point? Sure, they want other to know who they are and what they represent, but the message is more important than the one spreading it. Admittedly the message can be at time stated in a rather crude manner and the speaker a bit unkempt.

Simple things can be more nuanced and thought provoking than verbose word vomit. Artists should know that better than anyone. Does this picture suck because it lacks a background or shading? Memes are jokes, not lectures.

“Dispute resolution organizations” or something like that

If there was no truth in it whatsoever, then why would it be funny?
@Exhumed Legume
Can’t help but note that we’re still talking in a public comment section. Again, if you actually care about discussing this topic I’m only a DM away.
@Exhumed Legume
I don’t see how “repressed dissent” is proof that a government is totalitarian. That’s something you need to do when you’ve taken power by violent means. George Washington repressed dissent yet nobody’s calling him authoritarian.
Lasted 3 years, repressed dissent including inadequately far-left factions, kept eating itself alive until retaken by Spain.
Rojava
using the ethnostate name of the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria, smh ;^)
7 years in, expansionistic and steeped in internal conflict, apparently. I’ll be surprised if they last beyond another 7 years.

Eh, at a glance, the worst I can say is, they seem to idolize Che Guevara.
Also, seems like most of their harshest critics are – wait for it… – socialists! For not being socialist enough, so they must be doing something right… ;^)
the

So basically, SJWs, antifa, and postmodernists.

Conclusion:
Lefty: TL;DR
Righty: Oh, uh, okay…
To each, his/her own.
Yeah, that seems about right.
yeah that image does suck i clearly had no idea how to draw wings or hind legs back then plus the old OC design is horribly uncreative
Dab on them haters!

Look at them libtards writing wall texts in the chat.
A chad pony supremacist would merely DAB to resolve such trivial debate.
Just goes to prove the image’s point I guess.
How will courts work in anarcho-capitalism?
