Who knows? But honestly I don’t really feel like making it anytime soon. It was just a thought I had after watching the 2019 Joker and thinking about how Rarity could be written as the vulnerable one. I don’t really write fanfiction to be honest. That being said, I think it might be an aspiration to go for sometime in the future. Although it might not be this specific fanfic anytime soon.
 
But as an aside, I am interested in exploring characters in unique ways, interesting ways. Like maybe Rarity being the only one who treats Spike’s love of O&O in an artistic serious level and encourages him to channel his creativity into making a beautiful O&O graphic novel. Or maybe if I’m ambitious enough even write a PG style reboot of Friendship is Magic that explores more complex themes of friendship and betrayal. And other ideas.
 
But even if I don’t write anything at least I can ponder about these concepts.

Rarity I think would be interesting as Arthur and Blueblood as Murray.
 
Rarity would be trying to impress Blueblood. But he would see her as nothing more than a tryhard Ponyville redneck trying to fit in.
 
So he would interview her, and give jokes at her expense, like about her “infantlike emotional tantrums”, having to resort to seduction just to get ahead, and having a fake sophisticated accent. Overall dismissing her as a nouveau riche trying too hard to look aristocratic. To him her ambition is a symbol of her low status and lowly ancestry. At least AJ’s grandma founded a freaking settlement.
 
Rarity would realize that no matter what she did, they would never accept her. So she decided to go on a killing spree of all the nobles of Canterlot and to restore Nightmare Moon and create a Lunar Republic.
 
Wow, that was a little long whoops.😅 But I think it would be an interesting fanfic. Maybe I’ll write one.
