Hazelnut/“Hazel” is the adopted child of Fluttershy and Big Macintosh.

Likes: Gardening with her father, knitting with her mom, watching hockey games with her “uncle” Discord, helping out where ever possible.
Dislikes: Being put in the spotlight, public speaking, crowded areas.

Haxelnut was left in a basket on Fluttershy and Big Macintosh’s porch. There was a smudged note, obviously some one had been crying when they wrote it.
“Please take care of my baby girl”
And that they did.
Hazelnut has always been very Fluttershy-esque personality. She’s reserved and cautious, but even more so than Fluttershy in that she has strength and height more comparable to Big Mac, so she stands out more. Her bestie Gingergold consistantly tries to break her out of her shell.
She grew up in Ponyville and began working at both the orphanage and homeless shelter.
