In one event, Lycklig suggest adopting an heir. Or maybe Vedina becomes a constitutional monarchy in the future where a democratic government fulfils most of the state’s functions, regardless of a throne being vacant or occupied.

Lushian, Aquileian, Brodfeldian, and even Griffonian nobility all act in the manner considered proper by human standards. Why does Vedina, supposedly the pinical of Noble Chivalry, act as un-noble as they do? It makes very little sense.

No Noble house in the history of the world would accept a marriage that is incapable of producing heirs outside of adoption. (The method suggested by Lycklig) Adopting does not further the ruling line, as the bloodline isn’t continued.

Again, I’m not bashing your art or animation skill at all. I really do like your work, I just dislike this character.

Plus her path is a guaranteed succession crisis since they can’t possibly have a heir. Vedina’s entire setup is that Sköldsvärd is the only heir to the throne, she needs to prepare for it and find a mate quickly so the situation doesn’t repeat. Princess Lycklig isn’t exactly the best choice if it’s going to leave them without a heir.

Ugh, this character flat-out irritates me, as does her whole focus and event tree in the game. I don’t know how the Kingdom of Vedina’s Autocracy works, but playing it makes anybody who’s studied real nobility sick to their stomach.

Good art work and animation, but looking at her annoys me.
