I don't know man. Some old dudes gather round in a circle and write some stupid book. Now some clueless people find this book and run round pointing and shouting "ayyy can't do that, muuuhh constitution!!!" As if it's some be all end all rulebook on how to run a population. Nonsense. Everyone has a different plan and goal in mind and sometimes they criss cross. Some are just more important than others, fuck me right?

You know they would probably get better results if they just encouraged the parents to go through the videos rather than have a crappy ML algorithm do it for them, and suck at it.

What I'm worried about isn't just the legal issue of it though, it's also the moral one. Like, it's not a big deal, but it's just fucking weird that some of my videos have been automatically decided as "for kids" by the algorithm, and all of a sudden it's like youtube ignores my tags on those videos and even though they have "cock" and "fuck" and "youtube poop" and "meme" and stuff all over them, they're categorizing it the same way they categorize any other kid video and it's being shown to little kids alongside stuff for 5 year olds. There's probably a bunch of hypocritical parents out there right now who let their phone or computer babysit their kid, but then ever hour or 2 they come peek in for like 30 seconds and it might just so happen that the one time they checked on their fucking kid was the time they were watching rule 34 shit on my channel and then they're like pissed at me because they probably think that I the youtuber was the one who said it was for kids now. ;_;

Well from what I understand, it's more dangerous under the law if you are going the other way around, where something is set to be not for kids when it actually is under their guidelines. So I basically have to go through all my old videos and make sure that none of them are too childfriendly that they would be considered "for kids" under the law, even though YouTube marked a lot of them as not for kids, some of them might technically be (even though I never had kids in mind when I made youtube vids, hell I thought kids weren't allowed on youtube anyway because you have to be at least 13 to make an account, and way back in my day you were supposed to be 18 (even though I wasn't.)

Update: Good news! I was able to remove the "for kids" setting, and now the related videos are back to normal and adult-oriented again!
