I can’t imagine how heartbroken Starlight must’ve been after Sunburst left for magic school. I also can’t imagine how lonely Sunburst must have felt after having to leave. What an impact it must’ve made on them both.
Well now that I think about it… we know Starlight adopted an oppressive communist manifesto and enslaved an entire town based on the childhood trauma of crippling solitude and abandonment issues. So there’s that. Go figure.
