They’re episodes that kinda go against the continuity. For Pony POV, Discord is the villain to the end IIRC. For Fallout Equestria, Twilight never becomes a princess and it doesn’t end happily. For Yakity-Sax in the N-Team one it’s just a really bad episode.

-The three yellow episodes are episodes that more or less received retcons. The Last Roundup was actually edited after the first airing, while the other two feature Coco Pommel, now known as Miss Pommel.  
-The Show Stoppers is ambiguous as the foreshadowing of the CMC’s special talents was later changed (particularly Apple Bloom, who had her inability to dance changed into an actual interest and lost her talent for construction), earlier versions actually had this episode be red but I figured parts of it were still canon (like how it’s when the CMC got their clubhouse)  
-The second half of Growing Up is Hard to Do being red is more or less a joke on the fact most people seem to pretend it doesn’t exist (If it “did” we’d be getting more varied art than CMC porn and Sweetie Belle giving bedroom eyes)
