I think that I’ve had a slight epiphany.

Instead of trying to make everything super tight and controlled, I just didn’t do that. I certainly don’t paint like that in real life. My style is loose, and all over the place, but makes sense.

So, I tried applying that to this. I knew what I wanted it to look like in the end. This is one of those rare times where what I draw actually turns out how I pictured it in my head. And I’m honestly super happy with it.

I went fast and loose on this and it seemed to work out really great! Not worrying too much about the lines. Or the colors. It felt like I was throwing paint onto a canvas. Which I think is progress. C:

Plus, there’s never a bad time to paint my little derp. C:
