“You mean the Legend of the Princess whom accepted the Darkness? Everyone knows it’s just a legend to scare little fillies.”
“It is no legend, nor it is to scare the young ones. Sit down and I’ll tell you the, not scary, but sad tale of Princess Radiance…”

So I’ve been thinking about some characters’ futures in Windyverse, and I slowly realized that Radiance’s future isn’t a bright one independently of the universe she’s placed in. Yay angst time! Be ready to feel like crap (I did lol).

Taking place in the far future after Bing Cherry passed away and their children have grown older.
Radiance couldn’t cope with her husband’s death, and the sight of watching her beloved children growing older while she remained the same, beautiful and young. It was unbearable for her. Without her other half to help her keeping the emotions and depression in check, she succumbed to her negative side to a point of no return.

The control she had achieved over her Chaos Magic began to break and her healing powers reverted to hurt her loved ones and subjects. Realizing the catastrophe that was upon Equestria with her unstable magic, Radiance begged her friends and family to seal her away where she wouldn’t be a danger to anyone.

The most powerful magical beings gathered in Canterlot at Celestia desperate request to save Radiance, but even with all that magic she was past salvation, and the same magic that was used to help her had the opposite effect. Causing mutation in her Alicorn and Draconequus genes and distorting part of her being, turning her part Draconequus of the worst way imaginable.

After that horrible turn of events, Radiance begged her parents once more while forcing to keep her sanity. Begging to be locked away in a place no one would reach or be hurt by her magic ever again.And so it was done. Celestia, Discord, Twilight Sparkle, Pandemonium and Luna used their powers to transfer Radiance to a closed off dimension where time and space was stable to contain her and her power.

Pandemonium once in every year visits her, in hopes that his presence would bring his sister some solace, comfort and her sanity back. But every since that day she has been a sad all powerful beast.

As years and years go by, Radiance’s tale was told through generations. As a warning to everyone in Equestria and the lands far away. A warning that behind a smile sometimes there’s a broken being, that no matter how terrible you’re feeling, how horrible life and everything else surrounding you feels, you shouldn’t keep that darkness to yourself and be brought down with it.
The tale over the ages started getting twisted as many other significant tales, and its true meaning slowly got lost and replaced by a twisted legend of a royal whom embraced the Darkness within her.
