It’s interesting to know that Crookedtrees was such a popular artist for the time. From what I’ve heard, he was attacked for making lewd art of ponies. And apparently, it was a time when the fandom was against the idea of NSFW pony art. Yes you heard me correctly, the fandom was against that form of art. Can you imagine if we stayed like that? Maybe perhaps we could have gotten a lot more respect from folks outside the fandom…
