We all had a feeling Grogar was going to be an evil emperor, but I guess we never expected him to be the creator of the monsters that reek havoc in Equestria. So it seems that he’s the Morgoth of MLP:FIM; for those who don’t know who that is, he’s the predecessor of Sauron from Lord of the Rings, and like Grogar, he’s created fell creatures that terrorized Middle Earth. Grogar is supposed to be the most powerful villain in My Little Pony, and creating wicked monsters was one of his skills. Since fear is what fuels his powers, it makes sense for him to breed these terrible creatures and have them spread terror and misfortune upon the land that would become Equestria, and of course, he’s so cruel and so evil. I can imagine that he used his Bewitching Bell to create them before Gusty the Great took it from him.
 
But what kind of monsters did the Emperor of All He Saw create? Here are some agreed guesses: Cockatrices, Chimeras, Bugbears, Hydras, and Tatzelwurms. I included them in naturally. However, I also brought in some more: the Sphinx who terrorized the Egyptian village that would be known as Somnambula, Ophiotauruses, and the Sirens. I even included the Windigoes. Even though they’re more of magical spirits, I think they might make an addition to Grogar’s list of monsters (even before the season 9 finale, when we all saw the trailer to it, we assumed that Grogar summoned them as they were his creations). At the last minute, I decided to include the Timberwolf and Cragadile into the mix too.
 
And if you notice, there’s a dragon amongst this rogues gallery of beasts. I thought dragons would be among Grogar’s creatures for several reasons: 1, we saw what looked like a dragon when Grogar explained his history via palantir (crystal ball); 2, before Spike and the Mane 6 came along, dragons were pretty much greedy and destructive beasts, a trait that the villainous ibex gave them before friendship allowed them to break away from that. And 3, since dragons were bred by Morgoth in the LOTR universe, it would probably make sense that they would be created by Grogar in the world of MLP:FIM. And, since I like this idea, I’m going to use it in my fanfic version of the season 9 finale, and more… If I have time, I might make another plot twist that will rock your socks (unless you think this is the twist). There may even be others to join the list who’ve been befriended. We shall see…
 
I wish I could include more monsters, like Manticores and Maulwurfs. Unfortunately, I was unable to find vectors of them, and I don’t really have the time to make vectors of them for now. Despite this setback, I think we can agree that those would most certainly join the list of Grogar’s fearsome, fear-inspiring creatures. And if you want to, tell me if there are some others who might also be his creations.
 
As for Grogar, even though I figured out his magical aura, I had a hard time putting it in without having an error. Since his ears are right in front of his horns, and yet the base of his horns are in front of his ears, I struggled with this. Finally, I was able to find a way, but that will be discussed for another time.
