Description: In the recent history there hasn’t been a more iconic or loyal side-kick as Spike in all of Equestria. Raised by Twilight since hatching him from an egg for her entry exam into Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, he’s been a permanent hanger-on ever since. Though as the war with the Zebra has consumed all of Equestria and stressed Twilight’s attentions to a multitude of other things, he has remained deeply loyal to her. Even against his and her better judgement acting as her representative as he passes into the uneasy juvenile stage of dragon development. He would much rather stay out of this war.

This trait has not been ignored and there are rumors. Least among them being a dragon in effective defacto command of a small group of dedicated Ministry of Arcane Science soldiers known as the Experimental Field Research Division, a small group of weapons experts sent to the field to test new weapon designs in live-fire “exercises” of new weaponry and armor. In spite of this, because Spike is a dragon, and the Zebra oft make use of dragon mercenaries and allies many in Equestria’s army have little faith in him and are uncomfortable in his presence, or his faith.
