This is likely a reference to the IDW comics, as was when Discord mentioned Vorak. The comics are not technically canon to the show (at least, most of them are not), but we do get few references here and there from the comics.

Personally, my favorite ‘single issue’ story from the series, mostly for the beyond amazing visuals provided by Tony Fleecs. Well worth a read. :)
