If you haven’t yet, I can definitely recommend The Dragon Prince. It’s a very good show.
Animation for girls that didn’t “suck” has been around way before MLP:FIM, such as Juniper Lee, Kim Possible, My Life as A Teenage Robot, Powerpuff Girls, and Avatar The Last Airbender.
The new Ducktales has a lot of Gravity Falls staff on it. Amphibia is fantastic. Infinity Train is getting more…somehow but what was there so far has been completely worth the watch.

It’s a Netflix animated show, Meghan McCarthy(who left Hasbro and MLP in general) is a producer and story editor of the show. Faust, Rob and MA Larson are now working together again on Superhero Girls.
