I agree, this fandom is full of shipping talibans. Instead of focusing on their fav ships fanart they need to bash other shippings.  
Their arguments to confirm their shippings are “canon” are just screencaps which proves nothing.

I always figured if people are that intolerant towards others beliefs simply because they have a ship that the other person doesn’t like and they try to disprove you constantly or act like you’re wrong for shipping it then that’s their issue. That’s the most annoying thing anyone can do. Actively go unders posts just to try and “disprove “ it or aka just going under EVERY single fluttercord thing as to try and harrass people for liking it. But it isnt fun attacking others for HOW you ship it either. Either way, if got TONNNSS of shit for shipping fluttercord. Its sad.

I will not lie to you, I have a very dear friend who likes fluttershy, i don’t know what are your thoughts above people ocs having one of the mane six as couple with their ocs, but he is one of them, he it’s a great person and a very important friend for me, he usually share pictures made by himself showing the couple of his oc and fluttershy, but there were people who start to bother him saying things like “Fluttershy loves discord” , “Why you have fluttershy with you? She belongs to Discord!!” “Your ship it’s not true” “your ship it’s lame” or the topic one… “FLUTTERCORD FOREVER!!!” Just bother him because that stupid reason, since that moment I start to hate the shipping stuff in general, with so many stupid wars but my hate were more with the fluttercord ship for that and noticing that the shipping was the only thing the fans care about, that put me a little bit bad, because I realize nobody can’t get along. So for that reason I tried to defend him and every time I see a fluttercord thing (not the normal fluttercord I talking about the fans that assume something because they seek for insignificant details to prove the “canon” of their shipping, you know, the exaggerated ones) I put my thoughts about it and….try to calm the things, more because of my dear friend and because I don’t like to see people obsess about something cause I remember be in the same place one time, and believe me…it’s not good.

Yeah, I’m not saying its every shipper of any type in just saying I’ve been berated by a ton of dislestia shippers myself for liking fluttercord and or sometimes even twicord but honestly twicord is a more rare ship so it tends to happen less but the point being. I’ve gotten crap like EW YOU LIKE FLUTTERCORD UR GROSS WEIRD WRONG STUPID. Like even small stuff as people just generally always starting stuff under fluttercord pics. Idc what anyone ships really it’s just honestly some PEOPLE in the fandom I cant stand which is why I speak about this kind of stuff. Idk it’s just annoying and old after a while of years of it. Like if someone thinks something is canon or really enjoys it. Personally I think season 9 displayed fluttercord well myself but again then you get those people who try to bash your veiws in turn. I’m okay with people enjoying their ships and certain stuff and I just tend to leave them alone and get in with my day. I only really call it shoving down your throat if that person goes DIRECTLY after you specifically to attack you on it.

That I understand. Everytime I go on a fluttercord ship pic there is ALWAYS an anti shipper on it that has to start up some huge dramatic war that never ends containing like 189 comment of blabber and bickering. I cant go under fluttercord stuff on derpibooru anymore without someone trying to ruin the fun for us. Happens constantly, infact it just happened under here with someone trying to start up drama. Props though, they havent said anything more yet so that’s honestly something. But really, It can happens to any ship and it can come from any type of shipper.

Im talking about the fandom in general, always when I look to something related with fluttershy a damn shipping war start, and in other things the fluttercord fans say things like “My ship it’s canon and shit up, you are a fool cause you don’t think like I do” “THEY ARE CANON!” Exaggerating everything, you don’t know how that piss me up, and the other part isn’t better the people who insult just because they shipp something they don’t like. The writters in my perspective do nothing just spoil the fans…I’m just tired to see people fighting for the must dumb topic. And the exagerate ones who look everything no matter how insignificant it’s, the seek just to “prove” the shipping they follow it’s canon. It’s annoying, honestly in the end I was expecting everyone forget about shipps…but here we are and fighting against us…again.

Alot of the ships were confirmed or heavily implied. I understand you dont want the fiber of the show to be “ruined” due to people moving on and finding their own happy ending but it doesnt mean friends CANT become something more as well. Eventually people move on and find love lives and some of the BEST relationships are built on a strong friendship. You expect them to be single forever?
