its ok. your fans love you, they just have different ways of showing it. and some of them can be misguided.
personally, I don’t see using gender neutral pronouns as misgendering someone. hell, they’ve become as common as they are specifically for people to avoid misgendering other in this day and age when its hard to know who people are online. Seem like a fairly simple mistake to make to occasionally use it even when you do know someone’s gender.
all that said, its really getting offtopic, so lets leave it at that, hmm?

True. I tend to use they/them as a neutral way to talk about someone as the words usually indicate no gender. Tends to keep the people that push the incessant need to be properly pronouned from causing a fuss for the most part. Has worked so far for me and I don’t think the artist has said anything about it yet.

Well the top side is drawn as if in a resting state because she’s obviously not always going to be flying, and having her wings outstretched when walking would look weird.
The bottom side is drawn unfurled because you would really only see that side when she’s flying, which is when it’d make sense for them to be unfurled.
