It would have been interesting if Grogar had been sealed in the bell and after Chrisalis, Tirek and Cozy Glow were defeated, the bell began to open a portal and Grogar (real) leaves a portal and then BOOM !!!! The real battle begins.

I have a theory that Rockhoof got his strength from the bell of Grogar, we remember season 7, Rockhoof was digging and suddenly a magical energy covered him and transformed him.
It could have been caused by Grogar’s bell. (Remember that happened 1000 years ago, it could have happened before some pony put it on the mountain).
