Not possible. If Luster’s parents were Firelight and Stellar Flare, she would have been Starlight’s and Sunburst’s half-Sister

1- I dont ship them  
2- I posted way more evidence then just that  
3- Aren’t you inturn shipping these two to defend your alternative ship for glimmy or sunburst? There’s very limited similarities between these two and luster, but many more similarities between sunburst, glimmer, and luster. i dont like it it either, but i cant deny convincing evidence (and then make up a different ship instead.)

For me its the feeling of the cutie mark. Celestia, Sunset, Sunburst and maybe Stellar Flare all share a sun themed cutie mark but they don’t share the same demeanor (temperament?) Luster’s cutie mark just feels like Sunburst’s. No sharp edges. No wavy rays. The colors aren’t bright hot that scream.

Her cutiemark resembles sunbursts excessively, but is unlike than either of these two’s; the body color is a perfect mix of sunburst and glimmer, not these two; and neither of these two have a frizzled mane like sunburst and luster.  
If you look at this scene, glimmer excitedly waves at luster and then looks to twi.

If you consider that all the parents are in high 30s or low 40s through most of the show, after a timeskip they must be in 60s or 70s. For me Starlight as a mother makes much more sense

Man. Pony mares don’t have them biological clocks. Was Luster Dawn Stellar Flare’s last egg cell? She’s like pushing 40. Stellar already had them wrinkles under her eyes when we first saw her.
