Ohio state 1961.  
it was a quiet night and i had just gotten back from a long shift at the station. the weather was right and from as far as i could tell not a single cloud covered the sky. Recently the president had announced the most fascinating dream, the US was going to put a man on the moon. The Moon! I’ve always been a dreamer, always been the one adventuring, asking the questions no one would. so digging through my dads old stuff i found his telescope, after a long, thorough cleaning i marched up the hill positioning it just right to get the most beautiful view.
 
After about an hour, I grew tired and my mind began to wander.  
could it be possible that somewhere out in that vast open universe, someone like me was looking into the sky? wondering if he was alone?  
the thought of another world made me happy but at the same time scared. who knows what they would be like.
 
I would of stopped there and went to bed, but then something I never could of expected happened.
 
there was a flash, and a blinding light from the heavens, followed by a rumble and a MASSIVE figure falling from the sky surrounded by purple flames.
 
“what in gods name!”
 
suddenly That quiet night was interrupted by a roar of reports down at the local police station.  
officers struggled to keep up as phone call after phone call rang endlessly. each and everyone of them reporting on a Meteor hitting in a nearby field.  
It seemed silly but i was called back to work on account of the event.
 
I was a rookie, which meant I had little to no experience with sudden Emergency reports, but my colleague who was training me did. he kept me calm as we drove.
 
“sir do you think its anything to worry about?” I asked worriedly  
“what? No…. it’s just some space junk that fell down into the atmosphere that’s all. nothing to worry about son, just keep a cool head.”
 
I would of, but after he said that we slowed to a stop. I looked to him, he was scared his face similar to mine just a second ago.  
in a cold fearful voice, he stuttered “Ok kid….. stay here.”
 
Obeying orders I remained glued to my seat, but my curiosity grew larger as I realized why we had stopped.
 
In the middle of the road was a large circular pit, At first i thought it was the crater, However it wasn’t a sloping edge, nor did it in anyway look natural. It was like…. a footprint?
 
I stepped out of the vehicle, much to the corporals disapproval.
 
“god dammit kid stay back!”
 
approaching the pit he knelt down trying his best, despite his confusion to access the situation.  
Suddenly the trees began to rustle and shake Like a hurricane had whipped them.  
Panicking we both reached for our sidearms as a massive shadow flew over us.
 
“Holy shit…” I whispered.
 
“sir whats going on?” There was no reply.
 
Suddenly a loud THOOM knocked us to our asses as the shape slammed into the earth in front of us
 
the corporal sat in shock his body trembling at the sight before him.  
sitting on the road in front of us was a massive creature the size of a building. its skin purple but its full form unknown hidden by the night. Looking up i could see two Giant eyes Gazing down at me.  
standing up slowly i backed away and turned on the cars Brights.
 
the light revealed the creatures full figure.  
it looked like a horse, however it had giant glowing purple eyes with equally giant purple wings. it seemed feminine especially with how it looked at the two officers, and its mane was blue, with a pink stripe halfway across.
 
“what in gods name is that!” the corporal screamed backing up to the car.
 
“ I- I Don’t know?”  
we were scared and confused, however since we didn’t seem in danger we began to relax.
 
analyzing the creature more I couldn’t believe how fluffy her chest was. on top of that We both noticed her hooves, matching the footprint no doubt.
 
“ I wonder if we can communicate?” I said walking closer.  
“what NO! kid you get back over here!” the corporal yelled.
 
“relax, I can do this.” I said knowing full well i couldn’t.
 
the creature looked down at me as I stood. Taking a deep breath I introduced myself,  
“ Hello, My name Is Lewis wright. I am a police officer, I don’t mean you harm.”  
I held up my badge, then raised both my arms to show i had no weapon.
 
a massive smile spread across her face as i was suddenly lifted into the air by nothing.  
At first i was terrified and thrashed to escape to no avail, however my thrashing stopped as i felt a sudden warmth wrap around me and a loud female voice cooed, “ wow, When i made this spell to help me study alternate dimensions i never imagined i would meet such a Friendly little one like you~ “
 
I realized where I was now, she had pushed me into her chest, holding me there like a baby in her arms with one hoof.  
I won’t lie, I felt very comfortable, and No longer feared the giant mare.
 
she smiled to my corporal who aimed his gun at her. “I’m Twilight Sparkle, I am a princess from another Dimension, and i am here to research your cultures, and your biology, I found this dimension after a rift was formed about 20 years ago, in a place you people know as Berlin.”
 
the corporal lowered his weapon. “what the hell….”
 
Both of us had the slightest clue on what to do next, but judging by her warmth, and loving personality, we could tell she was no enemy.
 
however before any of us could come up with a plan, more police lights approached from afar.
 
unafraid of her new foreign friends, she waved as they arrived.
 
I looked up to her as she held me, and she looked down to me, Her eyes glistened like the stars and her smile melted my heart, I felt her kinda puff up, like she was enjoying my company, her cheeks warm with hot blush.
 
“ Lewis huh……. that’s a cute little name.” she said to me lovingly.
 
I blushed and my ears turned red “ HE HE th-thanks….”
 
she giggled as she squeezed me tighter.  
now i was in the middle of the road surrounded by police, being hugged by a very sweet alien.  
I still couldn’t figure out what would happen next, but whatever did happen i knew it would be good.
