Twilight Sparkle: Do you… want to talk about it?
Rainbow Dash: <sigh> Yeah, alright. Y’know how I lost all my loot ‘cuz of a loophole in my merc contract? Well, those contracts were written by two of the guys at the table. These two artificers. They actually got paper out and spent a long time writing them… And I kinda dozed off, ‘cuz I was bored. When they were done, I just signed it without looking. Then we beat the boss and get the loot, and one of them tells me to check my contract. Turns out, my share actually belonged to the artificers ‘cuz I hadn’t been paying attention. The DM let it happen because it was all “in-character” and they thought it was funny.
Applejack: WAS it funny?
Rainbow Dash: Rrrgh… Kinda, yeah. I mean, we knew they were roleplaying as scumbags right from the start. But I guess the whole thing sorta stuck with me.
