As the years have gone on Bronies and Furries have slowly started to become more accepting of each other. To show this friendship I have created several flags involving our symbols, this is one of the first.
Brave effort, but the pony who needed those words went to bed hours ago. The show’s already over, I’m just sweeping up the last of the popcorn before I bugger off home for the night too. :P

Well I don’t insist anyone is a furry. That’s up to the person to decide, I know not all bronies enjoy it. And that thing was just the idea of just how it sounded, I didn’t mean for you. God… I’m just tired. It’s almost 5 AM and I’m waiting my life away…

First of all, the artist literally has Communist iconography in both his name and avatar and Antifa is closely linked with Marxism, it’s not an unreasonable connection to make. This argument is also assuming you know the motive for me using that flag, what if you’re wrong? What if I used that flag because I liked the overall design? What if I used it because I was trying to appeal to a certain group? There are many reasons I could make this hypothetical flag in that design, so assuming one person is acting on malice when you have no reason to make that assumption while assuming the other is just misinformed despite a clear ideological connection strikes me as a bit…let’s use the word “unfair”.
I just want to enjoy my fandoms okay?
I never said you couldn’t, I said I dislike the drive by certain people to equate the two when they are not the same thing. If you want to be both, that’s fine. Just don’t insist I’m a furry and then call me stupid when I reject that categorisation, and we’ll have no further problems.

De Nile ain’t just a river. I’ve seen some shit and shit accessories. At the end of the day they’re the same regardless of what spawned them in the first place. Both have more or less the same fetishes, and I don’t care how you slice it.
I guess. I just joined the Furry fandom like a year or so ago and I can say that they’re similar where I can see the confusion, but they have many differences at their core. All this fighting is stupid, it’s just so petty at this point that I honestly feel bad at times for being in both as if I can’t belong in one without being excluded from the other. The only reason I’m fighting it off is because hey, I love both. They both have their flaws, but have a lot more to offer. Hell, even that one image circulating around that was a clear joke bot intended to hurt anyone really brought out the worst on both sides.

Though I am grateful of that, it still does not put furries and bronies on equal grounds when it comes to the defining characteristics of the two groups. Its like cats and dogs. Sure we are animals, and we both love our owners, but we act very different ways.
If you mean like things regarding pedophilia, zoophila, drama, harrasment, and overall degeneracy? Trust me, I’ve seen plenty of furries speak out about it. Hell, recently there’s a huge focus of taking down furs who commit the former 2 issues.
That doesn’t make us furries as the defining character of a furry is that they have no specified central.
I mean come on, even the “Psychology Behind Bronies” team knows this. Heck, one of the guys on the team was a hardcore furry and admitted there are a myriad of huge differences between Bronies and Furries.
You are basically saying “because cats have 5 fingers on each paw they are just like humans”, which is completely illogical.

Ey man, I get what you are trying to do, but it’s a futile effort. If anything, the constant comparisons between bronies in furries is what drives them apart, because there is lots of things that are undesirable about the Furries. Though, yes, bronies have that too, we actively speak out against such things, whereas furries do not.
Indeed, the show is the core thing of this fandom. i used to be in a blue fandom and having no show to feed you with, makes a chaos around everything.
about the morals, we are humans, its in our nature, that dark and bizarre corner, but this one is not as toxic as the furry fandom can be: rapes, cubs, horror things, yeah there are some examples of that here, but they are the few at least. but it ruins it, most when the artist think its cool making two cub being raped by another thing and say: fun! what is wrong with that people? i mean we are free, but you can’t say something against it and being deleted for whining?

Last that I checked, weren’t humanoid furry-like creatures introduced in several forms in both the movies and even to show at times?
Unlike furries, we have a clearly defined nexus in which everything orbits: MLP:FiM.
Anything outside of this is not accepted. The only reason you see anything other than pony within the fandom, say on sites like Derpi, is because they have been introduced in the show. Even then, they stick strictly to the guides of the show, not deviated much except visually.
The Furry “fandom” is like a randomized, non-centralized asteroid field. There is no nexus of moral, like that of the Elements of Harmony or “Love and Tolerate”, and there is no defining piece of work that everything orbits around. I have spoken to many furries and, after all is said and done, this still is the case.
As the things I mentioned are core factors which define the Brony Fandom, to say going without these things is the same as having these core factors be nonexistent is a very naive statement and really show how much you don’t know about either fandom.
