Really close. Especially when Pinkie gets that high-pitched, excited tone. It felt like the only issue with the new VA is that she is different. Which really isnt a bad reaction when the voice of a beloved, 10 year old character changes!!

Absolutely. And I like the expressiveness the CGI gave Pinkie, honestly. She acts like a silly horse if it was made out of jelly, and it works so well.

If you talk about the character design, of course it won’t be. About how the 3D animation looks? We need to check in which studio the shorts were made (DHX or Boulder).

really the only problem that voice has is that it’s obviously not Andrea Libman and personally I will be fine if this was her G5 voice
While the design itself looks a bit weird, I think both the CGI and Pinkie’s voice look fairly good. Can’t wait to see the upcoming (G5?) movie with that animation and I wouldn’t complain if the unknown VA for Pinkie in this video voiced her in G5!
They’re also nitpicking her voice in this vid.
