I don’t recall where, but I remember hearing somewhere that the average height for a pony in MLP:FiM is about 3’5” (or ~1.04m), with Big Mac being 5’0” (1.52m).  
But that doesn’t really matter; artists can draw them as big or as small as they like.

If you don’t like how a particular artist draws their ponies, then just move on, as there are easily tens- probably hundreds of thousands of other artists on the site, and you’re bound to find someone eventually who draws them the way you like.
