Yeah, they also cut a few hilarious gags of his from “Slice of Life.” Like originally DJ & Octavia were ganna have a more comical “The Odd Couple” gag going on.

I was fine with Fame and Misfortune aswall but I have heard he was ordered to rewrite the script. Another episode he gets some shit was mystical magical cure (another underrated episode in opinion) but apparently the script he wrote was not what was used. That one I actually saw him saying

Not to mention, quite a few of his episodes are some of the most popular.
 
Such as the milestone ep’ “Slice of Life,” as well as Amending Fences, (MoonDancer is still a popular character especially) The Return of Harmony 1&2, Luna Eclipsed, and The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000.
 
So I’m surprised there’s still quite a few fans that hate him, I guess they only look at his controversial “Fame and Misfortune” episode (his last episode unfortunately) which even he said he regrets, and apologized for, because it offended many bronies.  
(Though, personally I didn’t think the episode was that bad. I think fans just misinterpreted it as a “shot at fandoms,” when it was more like a somewhat comical look at the ugly-side of popularity, something, some viral bronies & fanartists could probably relate to. As well, as exploring/addressing the main characters’ flaws, and such. Like Fluttershy addressing why she’s still awkward, and such.)

I haven’t really heard it in a few years much honestly so I was never really bothered by it.  
Though, oddly enough I saw a guy still blaming Larson for the show’s decline, which I don’t understand, because he hasn’t written hardly any episodes for years.

Yeah, as much as I love the Anthology series, some jokes fall flat from things like that.
 
At least, with stuff like the “Thanks M.A. Larson” jokes were more exaggerated, and comical, (to the point where they were more-so making fun of those whom were blaming/picking on Larson over Twilicorn) and they even got Larson himself in on the joke appearing at the end of the video surprisingly.  
By far… My favorite moment/gag in the entire Anthology series.

I already mentioned the g5 think which was also very lazy I remember in the previous video there was a sketch where somebody took a video of somebody saying the never going to stop, endless trash with pictures of eqg edited behind him. Opinion based human work as it needs to be more than just stating that Opinion

Yeah, Gak was a huge deal in the brony fandom for two, or three days, and then just vanished. Some already got sick of it by then.

Yeah, I hate that kinda thing too. You can’t even see any hint of humor or parody to imply this is even a joke, (other then being a SSB nod) so you can’t even tell if it is, or if it is actually being butthurt over a popular meme/visual gag from the show.  
(That honestly, hasn’t been as overdone, nor “worn out it’s welcome” recently honestly. It’s like complaining about “Gak,” remember that meme, and how quickly it died off?)

That lack of research/memory does kinda ruin the joke to me. Plus, nerds unironically, and seriously actually complaining about minor things like this (or getting bent anytime any classic fandom/show memes get referenced) doesn’t really make these jokes that funny to me.
 
“Take that” jokes can sometimes be pretty cringy, even more then an old meme.

Princess Twilight Sparkle is a permanent show changing point. Twilicane was just a one-off gag that gained meme status because of meme face but has long since run its course.
