That’s a joke post.
And THIS, friends, is why you never trust anyone anonymous who claims to have a relative on the staff.
And the answer, it seems, is that they did it all in one episode….. I was joking when I suggested that idea.
That just sounds like A Canterlot Wedding but rewritten and/or rehashed.
Wrong, the episode was written by my uncle. He said so himself. He also told me that the episode involves Big Macintosh being the best stallion to the wedding of Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
And that the episode will be part of a four part finale with each part having a different name and it ends with the wedding being crashed by Grogar.
My uncle told me to tell no one but my friends but you guys are my friends so it should be alright!
I was saying to myself at the start of the season that if there wasn’t a wedding scene for them in the show i’d create my own. Night Glider, Cheerilee, Marble Pie, and Applejack would have been the bridesmaids, and Braeburn, Double Diamond, Party Favor, and Discord the groomsmen, implying they were all still close friends even if the relationship didn’t work out.
Me too
Obviously.
The episode where Big Mac almost broke up with her had her learning from the Cakes so she doesn’t have to be a competitive one.
And that’s the other possibility that no one else has talked about. It wasn’t unreasonable to assume this was going to have something to do with Mac’s relationship with Sugar Belle (his last two episodes were all about that), but The Big [Mac] Question wouldn’t be a phrase I’d associate with a proposal on its own.
If I were to speculate, maybe it’ll be about Mac’s sense of place in the world, he has thought about that sort of thing before, and if this comes after some advancement episode to the Mane Six stepping up to rule Equestria like they’ve talked about at the start of the season, that could serve as an event to make him question his selfworth as he watches his little sister move on to bigger and better things while he’s still just a simple apple farmer.
Alternatively, if it does have something to do with Sugar Belle, maybe he’s thinking of leaving Ponyville to be closer to her? They do have something of a long distance relationship as things stand, and there’s an argument to be made that Ponyville doesn’t have room for a second baker with the Cakes around. I’m just spitballing ideas, of course.
Probably Mac frets about how to propose, gets some questionable advice from his guy friends at game night, tries to do something elaborate, which flops, and Sugar Belle beats him to the punch and proposes to him.

Wedding proposal didn’t even come to my mind when I posted this here. I was thinking of a question about Big Mac’s future.
A. It’s about big Macs planning the proposal
B. It’s about sugarbelle thinking about the future if she says yes or not

This is going to be the last episode before the series finale, so it seems a little strange they’d have the two get engaged with no time to follow through with it. Whether or not that seems plausible will probably depend one whether we think that a.) the writers are fine with not following through with a wedding in show and leaving that as an unresolved idea forever or letting something like the comics finish it instead, b.) they’d rush the engagement and wedding into one 22 minute episode, c.) that they intend to have the season finale partly focus on the two’s wedding and the villains end up crashing it, or d.) they’d resolve it in a special credits montage showing the character’s lives going on after the final scene of the episode concludes.
Because Applejack’s brother is marrying someone?
Sorry, wedding lmao
Weeding?
Ep. 24: Big mac proposes to sugar belle
Ep. 25: Preparations for wedding then grogar attacks
Ep. 26: Final battle then resume wedding and a final song

Exactly. Could the plot be anymore obvious to the title.
