Well, I consider that form standard in pony civilization anyway - but you already know that. And I also conider all forms of indoor plumbing pretty modern, so unlikely to be present in civilizations which haven’t been building in a while. Especially not mountain cites inhabited by flyers, where the long drop method is just simpler.

Given how rundown Griffonstone is I can’t imagine them having any kind of indoor plumbing facilities. Mount Aris probably got it in order to be more appealing to tourists and delegates.
 
I did write a different story involving Silverstream and toilets. But in all honesty, the School of Friendship probably just has Japanese style toilets because it’s probably less easier for the different species to use it (especially yaks who might be too big for a western style toilet).

Indeed - not experienced infiltrators maybe, but I doubt Ocellus ever left the hive before.
 
The only ones likely to know of modern plumbing would be Gallus (if any rich griffins had or at least aspired to it) and maybe Silverstream if they had anything like that on Mount Aris.

Technically, changelings live in caves too, except they build their homes from mud and Alien goo, whereas most dragon caves are all-natural. :3

Well… probably Potty training ment to be like pre-schoolers and I’m pretty sure everyone learned how to use the toilet.
