That depends. If she came out in nineties’ show, it’s sneaking past censors, therefore is cool. If she came out now, then it’s corporates smugly patting themselves on the back for being so diverse, therefore is uncool.

Well, in fairness, there is such a thing as cheap/poorly done CGI too. Look at Foodfight. Then of course, there’s some good CGI reboots, like Nick 2012 TMNT. Same goes for 2D. I think they were just making fun of how some studios go the “cheap” route. I hear CGI/Flash is actually cheaper to do then a fully traditional 2D pen & ink animation would.

|| I will admit there was one moment while I was like oh god when the TV executive was going to do that fathead special without the creator and with computer. I was afraid I was going to be the same stuff I see on the internet all the time||
|| also I know this is a nitpick but I’m pretty sure if a studio wanted to do something quick and cheap they wouldn’t use 3d they would do something like flash||

|| Alot of shows are actually kinda doing it, (look at Stephen Universe) and ambiguous-gender characters are starting to become popular, so it’s not really surprising for me anymore. ||
I have to give a special a lot of credit for actually having a transgender character I did not see that coming
