Pinkie Pie continued to spend time with Rutherford. Pinkie was officially named the Ambassador of Laughter, tasked wth bringing laughter and treaties with other races and communities. But Pinkie’s favorite is always the cold Yak homeland. Rutherford always pulled out all of the stops when she showed up. She had the finest linens, the best food, the warmest lodgings. Pinkie loved it, she felt showered with love. It was Applejack who finally dropped the bomb on her.
 
“Pinkie…did you not notice…he’s been in love with you fer like…ever…”
 
Turns out Pinkie was being dense. Rutherford was trying to win her heart. He loved this tiny pink pony. She was squishy and warm and sweet and smelled like cake always. Rutherford was supposed to get married, he was expected to. And he wanted to marry Pinkie Pie, not one of the eight hundred Yak ladies who threw themselves at him. But did Pinkie pie feel the same?
 
Heck yeah she did.
 
In a very extravagant (albeit rustic, Rarity said…kindly…) the two were married and Pinkie became Princess Pinkamena Diane Pie of Yakyakinstan. But, unable to live there full time, she and Rutherford spend part of their time in Ponyville/Equestria, and part of their time in Yakyakistan.
 
Three years after they married Pinkie Pie dropped a fuzzy bundle in Rutherford’s arms. She didn’t even know she was pregnant and now she’d given birth to Snack Attack. The two were ecstatic and now their little family was complete.
