That actually makes me wonder if My Little Pony exists in the Equestria Girls Universe and if so how Sunset would react to hearing that the show that is her home universe is being cancelled.

You mean to little humans and anthro ponies. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’s breath lasts longer than EQG’s. And we don’t even know yet if Generation 5 will be a reboot or a sequel. In the latter case, it will outlive EQG by years even.

Yep. And if it is a reboot, then it’ll take a while until they start production! Since they probably will start after the first season of the G5 series (that also isn’t in production yet, they’re focusing in its prequel movie now).

I’d be happy if Boulder finished Season 2 and made a Season 3, but since they’re already packed with working on G5 AND a movie I doubt they will. If anything it’ll just be a reboot like G5 is with G4.
