Now I’d love to see a version where she’s launched with too much force at the cake and completely penetrates the entire cake and flies straight through it and lands on some fancy snobby Canterlot well-to-do party go’er while completely covered in cake, all the while she has that typical Twiggles expression on her face. :p

Twiggles didn’t even climb up the side. There are no hoofprints in the frosting. And since this particular variety of Twiggle is wingless, she didn’t fly up there either.
 
I can only conclude that someone has constructed a Twigglepult and used it to loft our favorite potato-shaped little squatpony across the room to stick in the side of the second layer. Fiendish!

Like a moth to flame, so Twiggles is drawn to the most offensive thing she can do at any one time. You could probably create an infinite energy source out of it if you knew what you were doing.
 
I’m going to imagine that whole cake slowly deflating as she sucks out all the innards. Celestia’s face follows much the same arc.
