It’s not about it being a QTE-heavy game. The game is actually very well put together and modeled from a technical standpoint. It’s that’s a solely narrative-focused game, and the narrative is some of the most hackneyed, amateurish, horribly written garbage that has ever been in any video game ever, and I say that without hyperbole.
 
There are three separate storylines: One with an eleventh hour plot twist that completely invalidates literally everything else that happened in it before that point, one which features what might actually be the most ham-fisted and poorly executed civil rights allegory that has ever been written, and one that’s only passable because the main actors went off-script and ad-libbed nearly all of their lines so they weren’t being ruined by the god-awful writer.

I’ve never played those games either, but yes I’m familiar with controversial QTE parts, which have been in games like Resident Evil 4, the Batman Arkham series, and other games. (I think even Zelda was guilty of that on a rare occasion.) QTE’s don’t bother me, unless they’re done too often.
 
One could argue, classic games like “Dragon’s Lair” are also basically full QTE games, but sense they were the first cinematic games, many accept that. So cinematic games can be good, but there needs to be a middle-ground between story, and gameplay, I feel.

It’s the latest game by Quantic Dream which made such games as Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit), Heavy Rain, and Beyond: Two Souls. They also made Omikron the Nomad Soul but that one is quite different from the others (and their first game). These days, Omikron is mostly remembered for the parts with David Bowie.
 
Many gamers accuse these of “not being games” and instead being “movies” because they have a big focus on story. They also use QTE (Quick Timed Events) which a lot of gamers hate. If you don’t know what QTE is, that’s when you have to press the buttons that appear on screen in what is basically a cutscene.
 
Also, even as “movies”, a lot of people hate the writing of David Cage (the main guy in charge of these games).

I’ve never even heard of that game oddly.

Everything about this is great, except that Luna shouldn’t be playing Detroit: Become Human. That is an awful, awful, awful game and she deserves better.

I love Luna Kirby, Linkuna, & SoniLuna. Shame we can’t see Inkling Luna well.

I never knew I wanted to see Luna with a moustache, but now I do and I have.
 
At any rate, Gamer Luna is always nice to see and the plushies are a most delightful detail.
